WOW. What a day! Being included on the list of Freshly Pressed blogs yesterday was a fantastic surprise. Thank you to everyone who has dropped by!
The best part of the Freshly Pressed experience has been hearing from so many other writers! If you haven’t had a chance to check out the comments from the Freshly Pressed post, there are a ton of great tips about writing in coffee shops – I’d highly recommend taking a look.
I have been reading all of the comments, and replying as fast as my fingers will type, but in reality I won’t be able to respond to everyone. Please know that I really appreciate that you took the time to comment, even if I don’t manage to reply.

Classics have a way of glaring at you from the shelf, don’t they. That post definitely motivated me to dust a few off. I used to alternate between reading one piece of modern lit and a classic work, but that was back in my university days. I somehow lost that practice over the years, but perhaps I need to bring it back. Thanks for your comment!

Congrats on Freshly Pressed! I hesitated to comment there as you already had like 400 comments or something! I write in coffee shops all the time (it will make me write because I’ve deliberately gone there to do it!) but can’t write where I’m overlooked, like on trains. Silly really!
